This event is NSFW-friendly and therefore is open to adults aged 18 or older only. All NSFW posts will be hidden and the tag #NSFW applied, so minors and anyone who are uncomfortable with NSFW content can mute the tag and not see those posts.

Joining Discord is a requirement. This will be the primary resource for communication to participants.

No harassment of other participants of any kind will be tolerated. This event is open to all who wish to celebrate Satan's birthday with us.

No demoncest is allowed in this event.

Do not stream/post/show previews of what you’re working on, on any social media until allowed to do so at the end of the event.

Please take the initiative to send your check-in/status on or by the due dates.

Not a rule but a final note—these rules are subject to change should anything arise that needs further clarification.

There are minimum requirements, but no maximum. You can always go above and beyond.

This event is open to all skill levels and all mediums! For the purposes of category selecting, anything that is not a fanfic will be considered "art". If you'd like to do something that is not strictly creating a fanfic or fanart, please contact the mods to discuss what check-ins would apply to your specific case.

Note that there are two weeks between the first and second check-ins. And two weeks between the second check-in and the due date. Everyone is encouraged to finish as early as you’d like. Plus, if you get done early you can work on additional submissions for the Satan Prompt Week!

If anyone would like a beta reader or art critic, please let the mods know! We are willing to help in any way we can. Beta reading is not a requirement this year, but highly encouraged.

The minimum requirement is one of three things: (1). A clean-lined (no sketches), flat-colored, bust of two characters; OR (2). A clean-lined (no sketches), flat-colored, full body of one character; OR (3). A minimum 4-panel comic that must be either clean-lined or colored and include two characters.

Image edits & meme tracing are not considered art for the purposes of this event. They may be art in our hearts but we'd like this event to maintain the expectation of original creations.

By the first check-in, you need to have at least a sketch done.

By the second check-in, you need to have at least the lineart or (in the case of a comic with colored sketch) the comic complete without colors.

The minimum requirement is a 1000+ word completed fic in English. Regardless of the word count you achieve, the fic absolutely must be completed when you’re done. Yes, that means cliffhangers are illegal.

We'd like everyone participating (who is reading this in English) to be able to enjoy all the event entries, so that is the purpose of the English requirement, however you are more than welcome to include a second entry of the same piece in your native language as well.

By the first check-in, please have either an outline or a summary of your fic ready.

By the second check-in, please have at least 200 words written.

Completed fics should be submitted via Google docs or pdf. Please refrain from posting on AO3 until prompted to do so near the end of the event.

August 24:Deadline to pick your first AU prompt. After this slots will be opened for people who’d like to do more than one.

August 28-31: Contributors may enter submissions for the Satan Week prompts

September 11-17: Contributors may vote on Satan Week prompt submissions

September 24: Second Check-in Deadline

October 1: Satan Week Prompts will be revealed to the public

October 8: Final Submission Deadline for Contributors

October 14-20: Satan Prompt Week #SatanWeek2022

October 17-19: Collab AU Event Submissions are posted #SatanCollab2022

October 20: Contributors are free to post their submissions on their own Social Media
